Restorative
We offer two different types of restorative fillings.
Composites are tooth colored fillings. They provide good durability and resistance to fracture in small-to-mid size restorations that need to withstand moderate chewing pressure. Composites can also be called "bonded" fillings.
Amalgams are the silver fillings that have been used in dentistry for more than a century. Amalgams are the most thoroughly researched and tested restoration material among all those in use. It is durable, easy to use, highly resistant to wear and relatively inexpensive in comparison to other materials.
